Soccer is for everyone. Try. it. out.

Youth recreational soccer is the easiest way to get started in sports and build a healthy lifestyle. It brings people together to create a community to share in the joy of the world’s favorite game.

Yes, this is about soccer, but the SYSA recreational soccer community is SO MUCH MORE than soccer - this community connects us all and brings us back to the things that really matter: the people around us, acceptance and inclusion and celebration of differences. Rec soccer is FOR EVERYONE, regardless of age, race, gender identity, socioeconomic status, or ability. Rec soccer is about the simple joy of coming together and being a part of something that makes life better.

At SYSA, we view soccer as a way to improve the mental and physical health of our city. We view it as a way to have fun OUTSIDE. We view it as a way for kids to develop life skills, learn to work with others and build character. We view it as a way to make friends, get to know our neighbors and positively cultivate a culture that we want to be a part of.

SYSA is a nonprofit governance organization that brings support and soccer opportunities at all levels of play to children aged 5-19 across Seattle and Shoreline. Our organization is composed of 12 neighborhood clubs that facilitate recreational soccer, one citywide program, TOPSoccer, that supports soccer for players with disabilities, and one competitive citywide club, Seattle United. Scholarship opportunities are available.

Rec soccer at all ages can make a difference in our communities, families, and kids.

Recreational soccer is not about making a team, you don't have to try out, you can simply…TRY IT OUT.
